Using cardWatch

The following assumes you have cardWatch installed and configured correctly.

When idle cardWatch will minimise itself to the system tray, usually located at the bottom right of your main screen. You can access any of the cardWatch features by right clicking the icon and selecting the appropriate option.

However, the easiest way is simply to leave it idle. Whenever you plug in your camera or memory card into the memory card reader, cardWatch will detect the new files and bring up the main transfer window.

From that point on it's simply a matter of selecting the images you want to transfer and pressing the transfer button.

Once the transfer is complete, you can safely remove the memory card. If removing a card reader or camera, remember to stop the device first in your usual way.

Must Not's!

You must NEVER ever remove the camera, memory card or memory card reader while cardWatch is performing a transfer. Nor should you remove any of them while it's building a list of thumbnails.
