Background

cardWatch was written to make my management of my photographs a bit simpler. I used to use Nikons' PictureProject to store and maintain my RAW images but after moving location where I store my photographs, I discovered a major limitation with PictureProject - simply that it can't handle the target destination moving.

So I dumped PictureProject as a browser and tried ACDSee Pro 8. While this worked OK I found it a little bloated for my needs nor could it transfer the photos from my memory card to my target destination. Next I tried Adobe Bridge. I've found bridge much better for handling my photo collection but I still had to move/copy the pictures from my memory card manually. That's when I decided to write cardWatch.

cardWatch is also a little gift to the members of pixalo.com - a very nice bunch of people who are never short of help and advice for photography related do dahs...

License Agreement

By installing cardWatch you agree to the following terms: -

1. You have free personal use of cardWatch wherever and whenever you want as long
as you understand that anything that goes wrong in your life is just the nature of
the beast and sweet bugger all to do with us, our friends or family. Now that we've
attempted to absolve ourselves of all responsibility, we would really appreciate a
donation though so we can keep adding to cardWatch in the future (See the above).

7. If you want to use cardWatch in a commercial environment then you'd better ask
first. We might charge you, we might not. It usually depends on the phase of one
of Jupiter's moons (we've not decided which moon in particular yet - there's
quite a few to choose from).

8. If cardWatch farts/borks/crashes or otherwise performs in a manner demanding
contempt, then you acknowledge that "shit happens".

7. Some of these licence terms may be hidden depending on your date of birth. We
reserve the right to do this. If you really want to see the hidden terms you are
agreeing to then feel free to view the source of this document.

3. The order of the licence terms may well be jumbled up on your computer. This
is due to imps swapping your RAM chips with polystyrene. We accept no
responsibility if one of these imps get's electrocuted, burned or caught in a fan.

. This particular licence term has no number. It is a free man. Apparently.

2. If you are still reading this agreement then you must agree to go outside
(weather permitting) and relax for 15 minutes. Tell your boss (if applicable)
that we said it's OK.

You can revoke this agreement at any time by uninstalling cardWatch and all it's files.
